A Bit About Me……
My first job in a gym was in high school (I was there so much, they figured they might as well hire me) and this inspired me to enroll and graduate from the Personal Fitness Trainer program at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Along the way, I’ve completed many different certifications and continuing education workshops with the following organizations:
National Strength & Conditioning Assoc.
Post Natal Specialist Certification (Jessie Mundell – JMG Fitness)
Alberta Fitness Leadrship Certification Assoc.
Aerobics & Fitness Assoc. of America
Les Mills, Zumba, Nike and more.
As a trainer and group exercise instructor for more than 20 years, there’s no denying it’s my passion teaching women (especially moms) that we don’t have to restrict, limit or deny ourselves foods we enjoy. We also don’t have to workout 2 hours a day, every day to see results.
I can’t even tell you how it makes me feel when I hear a woman say:
“I can’t/shouldn’t eat that”
“I need to lose weight”
“I don’t have time but I really want to workout”
“I need to get into shape before I start going to the gym”
You know why I get so upset hearing those things? Because I’ve been there. I’ve said most of those things. I’ve felt those emotions. And it was a struggle. Still is some days! But I realized that if I can’t take care of myself; who will?
I want to share those lessons and my experiences with you.
My promise to you is that I will provide a relationship free of judgement so that you can feel confident and empowered. I will continue to educate myself and stay creative so that you not only see results, but you have FUN! I bring enough energy for the both of us, so even on your worst days, we will get work done!
Every woman has the right to live life without guilt from food and most of all, feel confident about who they are as a whole and not just about how they look. As a woman and a mom, we need to take ownership of who we are and how we live our life so that we can inspire our family and friends to do the same.
I’m here to help you find YOUR balance, get rid of the negative thought patterns & habits and realize your individual strengths, super powers and beauty.
Renee is a Holistic Nutritionist and mom to two amazing children. Holistic Nutrition was not a career she went looking for, rather it found her.
Renee was a Commercial Realtor, with a very lucrative career in high-end Commercial real estate specializing in development land prior to having children. She had her first child in 2008 and returned to work hours after his birth, driven for success.
She fell into her career and passion through a very personal experience with her child’s health. Through that experience with holistic methods of treating her son's health issues; she experienced unbelievable amazing results. Her son struggled through severe food intolerance, eczema, asthma, regressive neurological issues, aggression, and Tourette’s.
Through working with a Holistic Nutritionist when he was 2 and starting treatment with a Naturopathic Doctor when he was 4 as well as a multitude of other holistic practitioners and therapists Renee and her family were able to reverse all his health issues and start to heal his little body. Really the results were nothing short of a miracle.

Mandy Trapp, Meditation Instructor and Founder of Lifestyle Meditation
Mandy Trapp worked in the health and wellness industry for 15 years before launching her own meditation company in 2012. Lifestyle Meditation was founded as an education-based, socially conscious company that believes in making stress management and spiritual growth easy and accessible for everyone. As a mother of three and wife to a successful entrepreneur, Mandy understands the demands of juggling a busy life. Although she entered motherhood with a post-secondary education and a full schedule as a personal trainer at a top training studio in Edmonton, Canada, it wasn’t until she began her studies at Chopra University in San Diego, California, that she truly began to understand the importance of a daily meditation practice. In 2008 she graduated from Chopra University with their top distinction of Vedic Master Educator and has brilliantly woven her Chopra education with her athletic training education, various yoga certifications, and several trips to India and Nepal where she has founded the India/Nepal Yoga Project; a non-profit organization that empowers healing in those affected by the devastating effects of human trafficking.
